Three ways to start to listen to your Mum Intuition

Motherhood is a beautiful and rewarding experience, but it can also be challenging and overwhelming at times. By tuning in to your intuition you can navigate the ups and downs of motherhood and find clarity, balance, and fulfilment in your life with more ease and flow.

So what is your Intuition?

Your Intuition is a powerful tool of guidance from within, which is there as your guiding compass for your life. When we access our intuition we are hearing our true voice, we hear that expressive, creative inner part of us. And when we are guided fully by our intuition we are able to lead a heart centered authentic life as our true selves.

If you think back to a time when you have known your child was unwell or something was wrong and you couldn’t explain why, you just knew, this is your intuition, your inner knowing. And so using this skill, you can develop it further in to be able to listen inwards for all contexts across life.

Intuition Definition

noun

the ability to understand something instinctively, without the need for conscious reasoning.

So what is it exactly?

~ intuition is a superpower

~ get a feeling, energy, vibe

~ an inner wisdom

~ intelligence beyond logic

~ unconscious communication

~ magic nudges

~ past, present & future

~ personal connection to own energic intelligence

~ your soul voice

Why is it important?

Your body has all of the intuitive wisdom that you need in order to live a life as your truest self. If you can take the time to listen and access this, you will develop an awareness of what your intuition is telling you and then be able to act on it. This will support you in understanding yourself, what brings you joy and allows you to be creative, compassionate and courageous.

Your intuition is your inner voice or gut feeling that guides you towards what's right for you. By tapping into your own intuition you can use it to make better decisions, set goals, and find clarity. It’s important that you can develop your skills to listen and to trust your inner voice and use it as a tool for self-discovery and growth.

The development of these skills and learning how to listen inwards will help you navigate motherhood in a way which allows you to trust yourself and your decisions, move with more ease and flow in a way which is right for you.

Three ways to start to listen to your Intuition

1. Trust the process, be curious and see what happens when you listen to your intuition ~ all knowing is in the doing so keep listening and keep being curious. This is where the magic is. Note down what comes up for you when you start to listen, don’t question it, just trust in it and write it down so you can reflect on it.

2. Start with asking yourself what you need right now and allow the answer to come to you ~ there is no rush with this, just allow the answer to come to you in its own time. Again listen to what comes up when you ask this question and trust in the answer, it might not be something you had previously thought of. You can start to ask yourself other questions too, such as ‘Why has this caused me to react in this way?’, ‘What do I need in order to …'

3. Listen to what your body and mind are telling you ~ what are the feelings, sensations, thoughts that are coming to the forefront of your mind? Write these down in your journal. What does knowing this give you? What can you learn from what your body and mind are telling you? All of this is information, which you can become aware of and then you can act upon if you choose to.

So start to listen inwards, and trust what information you are given, because your inner knowing is your guiding compass for all aspects of your life and will allow you to lean to who you are, what you want and what you need. This will allow you to move through life with much more ease and trust in your decisions.
